Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of North. By buying or using North, you agree to them. North is operated by Skia (Y-tunnus 3630616-7), a sole trader based in Finland. Contact: hello@joelnorth.app.
What North is
North is a digital self-reflection tool. You answer questions across five chapters, and North generates one personal reading based on your answers. The reading names a pattern in how you stop, what staying stuck may be costing you, and a direction. North is a mirror, not a course, not coaching, and not professional advice.
Who can use North
You must be at least 18 years old to buy or use North.
Price and payment
North costs €97 as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe. The price shown is the final price.
Digital delivery and your right to cancel
North is digital content delivered electronically. Under EU and Finnish consumer law you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content, this right does not apply once delivery has begun, if you have given your explicit consent to begin immediately and acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel by doing so.
At checkout you are asked to give this consent before you pay. By giving it and accessing North, you agree that delivery begins immediately and you lose the 14-day right to cancel. If you have a problem with your purchase, contact hello@joelnorth.app.
Your account
You create an account with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. Do not share your account.
What you can and cannot do
North and its content belong to Skia. Your reading is for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publish North's questions or content, or use them to build a competing product.
The reading is not professional advice
North is a tool for personal reflection. It is not therapy, medical advice, psychological diagnosis, legal advice, or financial advice. It does not replace help from a qualified professional. You are responsible for your own choices and actions.
Limitation of liability
North is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Skia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of North. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory Finnish consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. As a consumer you may bring disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
